Tweaking windows OS

I upgraded my office laptop to Windows 7 and was looking into tweaking the system to improve the performance. My search resulted in finding tweakhound.com .  Its a pretty good website and goes into details about adjusting windows setting to improve performance.  Not only that, it also discusses about optimal way of installing Windows OS. Wish I found this before I started installing Windows 7 !
