Facebook finally stopping Beacon !

Facebook has finally decided to end the Beacon advertising system. It took a class action lawsuit to get facebook to make the final decision. I always wondered why would a social networking site collect all that information and publish it. It always bothered me and found it interesting to see what some of my facebook buddies rent and bought. Well, I am glad Facebook has taken the right step.
