BP has capped up the oil well and the world needed something else to talk about.\u00c2\u00a0 Apple has pitched in with the “death grip” for their new iPhone4. I am pretty sure everybody knows about it by now and for those very few who hasn’t heard , apparently if you hold the new iPhone4 in a certain way <\/a>and the signal fades away.\u00c2\u00a0 This is mostly because Apple was “creative” about putting the antenna around the phone.\u00c2\u00a0 Surprisingly it passed QA !\u00c2\u00a0
\nDon’t get me wrong, I love iPhones,\u00c2\u00a0 I own\u00c2\u00a0one of them\u00c2\u00a0, I think they are great smartphones and perhaps one of the best out there.\u00c2\u00a0 But I wish Apple did a better job on these.
\n\"\"<\/a>So what is Apple doing about addressing the issue ??\u00c2\u00a0 Giving out free iPhone4 bumpers and cases so that it cover the “magic” part of the antenna.\u00c2\u00a0 Well thats one way to “fix” the issue.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 I like the way they are doing it.
\nThey have an app on the iTunes App Store<\/a>, you download it to the iPhone and it walk you though the selection of bumpers and cases available. You order it and off there and viola ! they ship it to you . All free of charge !\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 The whole process takes less than two\u00c2\u00a0minutes (unless you can’t make up your mind on which case you want) . I got to tell , they have some good selection of cases, not anything fancy, but decent ones.
\nThe only\u00c2\u00a0condition is \u00c2\u00a0“\u00c2\u00a0For iPhone 4 purchases made before July 23, 2010, you must apply no later than August 22, 2010; otherwise, you must apply within 30 days of your iPhone 4 purchase.
