Well I found a easy\u00c2\u00a0 way to fix it \u00c2\u00a0if you have proper access.<\/p>\n<p>I got this error while trying to sftp to the server <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">spiderweb<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@<br \/>\n@\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 WARNING: REMOTE HOST IDENTIFICATION HAS CHANGED!\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 @<br \/>\n@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@<br \/>\nIT IS POSSIBLE THAT SOMEONE IS DOING SOMETHING NASTY!<br \/>\nSomeone could be eavesdropping on you right now (man-in-the-middle attack)!<br \/>\nIt is also possible that the RSA host key has just been changed.<br \/>\nThe fingerprint for the RSA key sent by the remote host is<br \/>\nxx:e3:0f:xx:yy:yy:xx:5b:60:hh:4b:xx:52:xx:xx:b4.<br \/>\nPlease contact your system administrator.<br \/>\nAdd correct host key in \/home\/spider\/.ssh\/known_hosts to get rid of this message.<br \/>\nOffending key in \/home\/spider\/.ssh\/known_hosts:2<br \/>\nRSA host key for <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">spiderweb<\/span> has changed and you have requested strict checking.<br \/>\nHost key verification failed.<br \/>\nConnection closed<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Solution\u00c2\u00a0 1 :<br \/>\nvi or pico the \/home\/spider\/.ssh\/known_hosts file and delete the offending key.\u00c2\u00a0 The file is going to look like this :<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">spiderweb,101.451.126.15 ssh-rsa AAAAB3NzaC1yc2EAAAABIwAAAQEAuM5jmqpIlTG\/<br \/>\nAPbzYZU31lsTWy9qGevF2XQABwJhNz0niLqkXSThlYx8yDkMor6XkReHY4OR9SPeAzs3hPQn<br \/>\nAH7GT\/yqqMstmVOrF6W1+2sQ3Aymdu5jItE9t0+pL6pasyd9ZJhlKDDo02dpt13ooW3XyTl<\/span><br \/>\niceman,114.16.15.140 ssh-rsa AAAAB3NzaC1yc2EAAAABIwAAAQEAukZikbzoto7<br \/>\nGG1CAHu5S7I5m2VlwjdERi6sO7Do\/yHQdf1xRHY917LHHHLlmg5YM5i8sDkjU5y3b1vNz7<br \/>\nO4iIvvkDAYUTT80uOoqFBNQsKxMhlHmy5RqKwSpP5kmkNun0gXOynj9RF+iZsL0obiphDj<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">If you want to reset the ssh key all you have to do is remove the entry for the server <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">spiderweb. <span style=\"color: #000000;\">Delete the lines I have hightlited in blue and save.
