Although you can find the info on apple&#8217;s website, I thought I will create this, just to help me out. \u00c2\u00a0Here goes :<\/p>\n<p>\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Installing Windows on your Mac computer involves the following steps:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 1: Run Boot Camp Assistant. \u00c2\u00a0(\/applications\/utilities\/boot camp assistant<\/strong>) <a title=\"Bootcamp location on mac\" href=\"https:\/\/techsatwork.com\/blog\/?attachment_id=24\" target=\"_blank\">Click here to see the location<\/a><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Boot Camp Assistant helps you with these tasks:<\/li>\n<li>Creating a partition for Windows<\/li>\n<li>Boot Camp Assistant creates a partition for Windows on your computer\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s startup or\u00c2\u00a0other internal disk.<\/li>\n<li>Starting the Windows installation<\/li>\n<li>Boot Camp Assistant gets you started with the Windows installation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Step 2: Install Windows.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Boot camp needs Window XP2 or Windows Vista. \u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 3: Install the Boot Camp drivers on your Windows volume<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to an administrator account on your computer, quit all open applications, and\u00c2\u00a0log out any other users on your computer.<\/li>\n<li>Open Boot Camp Assistant (located in \/Applications\/Utilities\/) and follow the onscreen\u00c2\u00a0instructions to create a windows \u00c2\u00a0 \u00c2\u00a0partition.\u00c2\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>\u00c2\u00a0Set the size of the partition you want to allocate for Windows and click create partition.\u00c2\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Once the partition is ready click Start installation and just follow the instructions<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Once XP2 or Vista has been installed, you need to install the boot camp drivers for Windows, for that you need to \u00c2\u00a0:<\/p>\n<p>1 Eject the Windows installation disc\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to My Computer.<\/li>\n<li>\u00c2\u00a0Select the optical drive (D:).<\/li>\n<li>Click \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Eject this disk\u00e2\u20ac\u009d in the System Tasks list.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>2 Insert the Mac OS X disc.<\/p>\n<p>If the installer doesn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t start automatically, browse the disc using Windows Explorer and \u00c2\u00a0double-click the setup.exe file in the Boot Camp directory.<\/p>\n<p>3 Follow the onscreen instructions.<\/p>\n<p>If a message appears that says the software you are installing has not passed Windows\u00c2\u00a0Logo testing, click Continue Anyway.<\/p>\n<p>Windows that appear only briefly during the installation don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t require your input.\u00c2\u00a0If nothing appears to be happening, there may be a hidden window that you must\u00c2\u00a0respond to. Check the taskbar and look behind open windows.<\/p>\n<p><em>Important: <\/em>Do not click the Cancel button in any of the installer dialogs.<\/p>\n<p>4 After your computer restarts, follow the instructions in the Found New Hardware\u00c2\u00a0Wizard to update your software drivers (Windows XP only).<\/p>\n<p>5 Follow the instructions for any other wizards that appear.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A detailed document for bootcamp on mac can be found at :\u00c2\u00a0http:\/\/manuals.info.apple.com\/en\/Boot_Camp_Install-Setup.pdf<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A freind of mine the other day asked me how I installed boot camp on my mac.
