I found an easy way to block a website :<\/p>\n

1. open spotlight and search for Terminal<\/p>\n

2. Open terminal<\/p>\n

3. sudo su – \u00c2\u00a0 \u00c2\u00a0and type your password<\/p>\n

4. From the root prompt type \u00c2\u00a0vi \/etc\/hosts<\/p>\n

5. At\u00c2\u00a0the end of the existing text, type 127.0.0.1 , a space and then the site you want blocked, like this<\/p>\n

….
\n127.0.0.1 WWW.BLOCKEDSITE.COM
\n127.0.0.1 BLOCKEDSITE.COM<\/p>\n

6 save the file by type \u00c2\u00a0:wq! \u00c2\u00a0– this saves the file<\/p>\n

7. Clear the cache of the browser and try navigating to blocked site.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

8 . type exit on the terminal and then close it.<\/p>\n

Any application that access the site will also be blocked. \u00c2\u00a0 If you want to remove the block, follow the same steps , and remove the lines you added above.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
