DB2 LUW V9.7 Express C on Ubuntu 9.04

A few months back, I had posted how to install DB V9.5 Express-C on Ubuntu 9.04.   Today I installed the latest and greatest Db2 V9.7 express -c  on my Ubuntu VM.  I encountered a new issue that wasn’t mentioned on my other post.
I got  “The DISPLAY variable is not set properly …” . Well I discovered for some reason the DISPLAY variable is not being set properly, so what I had to do was issue xhost +  to allow the clients to connect from any host.

After this, you would just have to select Install a product and continue with the screen.
