Lion is on its way !

Apple Inc made their Mac fans happy again. With all the iPhone, iPads, iTouch, iPods and Apple TV, the Mac fans were wondering whether Apple has neglected their OS for their award wining and unmatched computers.  But today, Apple announced their upcoming OS the Mac OS X Lion.  Surprisingly they have moved the naming concept to bigger cat !

With Lion,  MacOS now meets iOS .  The new Lion will have a lauchpad for its applications just like iPad and iPhone has.  Is this a stepping stone for touch screen computers ?? I would think so.  It also have the same folder concept as the iOS.  Another feature that caught my attention is the full screen app screen. Apparently just like iOS, any application on the Lion can be instantly viewed in full screen with one click and then flip through other application by swiping the trackpad.

MacOS X Lion is supposed to be out by Summer 2011. Well,  something look forward  to.
