Ubuntu 10.10

Ubuntu has released yet another version.  For all those Windows users who like to try out linux, Ubuntu now have a windows installer option that lets you run Ubuntu linux and your crappy windows side by side.  The windows installer will configure dual boot option and will install Ubuntu on a partition.  They call it Wubi.  Wubi is an officially supported Ubuntu installer for Windows users that can install and uninstall Ubuntu as any other Windows application, in a simple and safe way.

Now thats pretty cool !

Ubuntu is the most popular and user friendly linux flavors out there. Many desktop, laptops and netbooks uses Ubuntu as OEM operating system install options. There are many applications that support Ubuntu.  The Ubuntu Software Centre gives you access to thousands of open-source and carefully selected free applications.  And now you can buy apps too.

I have been using Ubuntu ever since it came out. I am yet to find an issue with it.  I love Ubuntu as much as I love my Mac.   I wish Ubuntu comes out with a mobile OS for smart phones.  Now that will be a lot cooler !
